In 1991, Mr. Hoffer set foot in Judge C. Van Deacon’s courtroom, the then Juvenile Judge of Bradley County, Tennessee. After withstanding Judge Deacon’s test of fire, Mr. Hoffer has embarked on a rigorous practice in juvenile court in Bradley, Hamilton, Meigs, Rhea, Monroe, Polk, and McMinn Counties. For over 10 years Mr. Hoffer served as the Juvenile Court Referee for Cleveland Middle, Yates Primary, and EL Ross schools. Prior to that, Mr. Hoffer served as a Campus Court Referee for Bradley County High School as well as a Substitute Referee at Black Fox Elementary, Lake Forrest, Ocoee Middle, and Cleveland High Schools. Mr. Hoffer handles the following juvenile matters:

  • Dependency & neglect
  • Delinquency
  • Paternity
  • Child Support Actions
  • Child Support Defense
  • Termination of Parental Rights
  • Contempt Actions
  • Name Change
